Britney Parties After Custody Hearing

britney spears
What do you do when you’ve spent most of your day in court trying to get your kids back? That’s easy, you party!

That’s exactly what Britney Spears did Friday night after her court appearance. Britney met up with her friend/cousin Alli Sims and they both headed to Ketchup to meet with Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo(the guy that’s reportedly dating Sophia Bush).

"[Spears] walked around the restaurant into the lounge where she met up with some people," an eyewitness told People magazine. "She didn't eat or drink …[It] seemed like she was rounding up people to go to [out]. She was very friendly and smiley, in and out."

"Alli was meeting up with Tony and his friends at Ketchup and Britney wanted to come along. Tony and Alli have been good friends. They've known each other for a little over a year. "

After their short time at Ketchup Britney and Alli headed to hot spot Les Deux where they were later joined by Romo. Spears was "sitting with her friends and Tony. Everyone was just hanging out. Brit was upbeat, really seemed fine."

Britney Spears News and Pictures

Britney Spears has already hit up every club in LA so last night she headed over to the OC to party at Sutra Lounge.

Our spy says Spears showed up really early (around 9pm) and stayed there past midnight. "She had a breakdown because too many people were in her section and she wanted to get rid of 'the people she didn't know.'"

Britney Spears spent most of the night with two blonde girls and one brunette and made regular trips to the restroom. Our spy says she tried to be low-key and was on her phone texting a lot and mostly just taking pictures with her digital camera.
Britney Spears put tanning and shopping aside to head back to the studio yesterday. Brit-Brit and her “cousin” Allie were at a Burbank studio yesterday working on some new stuff.

The two took a break from the studio and headed to Acapulco restaurant for some grubbin. When Britney came out of the restaurant she had a camcorder at hand. She was taping the chaos that is her life. I have a feeling we might be seeing Chaotic Part II sans Kevin Federline.

Britney Spears News and Britney Spears Pictures

Britney Spears must have known she was going to be the talk of the town, especially after her disappointing VMA performance.

Everyone will spend the next month discussing what really went wrong with Spears when she hit the stage that night. I don't care how many theories are floating around out there, it basically comes down to the fact that she just wasn't ready. She spent her time partying rather than rehearsing the days leading up to the VMA’s.

"The dance number was spectacular - without her," a spy told the NY Post. "When the stand-in was rehearsing with the dancers, in the hours they were all waiting for her, it was amazing. Then Britney showed up and refused to do anything. The dancers were supposed to lift and twirl her in the air a few times, and that just wasn't going to happen. The more complicated dance moves had to be erased because she couldn't do them."

After her performance, she ran off stage and cried. Instead of going home she decided to party/drink her troubles away until 5AM. Apparently she was so upset her panties came flying off--so beware--there are pictures floating around of Britney once again without panties.

What Are They Hiding???

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that a major incident happened in the ongoing baby battle between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.

Aaron Cohen and his team of Israeli military-trained commandos were trying to serve papers to another Britney insider Tuesday afternoon when all hell broke loose.

The person - a man close to Spears by the name of Sam - was arriving at his home in Venice when he noticed Cohen and his team and freaked out. “He drove into Aaron’s car and sped off,” a source tells us. “He didn’t even obey the nearby stop sign!”

The man was not served. Police went to the scene to speak with Cohen and investigate the hit and run. Why is Britney Spears’s camp so skittish about the truth????

As we reported earlier, Spears’ former manager, Larry Rudolph, is in hiding because he doesn’t want to testify against Britney. He’s afraid it would hurt her custody chances.
Something fishy is going on here.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears: A dog’s worst friend?

Last week on again/off again BFFs Paris Hilton and Britney Spears walked into a Hollywood animal shelter and, after careful consideration, adopted two adorable and friendly adult pit bull mixes. Then, pushing through the paparazzi, the celebutante and pop star immediately signed up for the ASPCA’s basic dog training class … psyche!

Back in the real world, TMZ.com reports that the spontaneous spending habits of this dog-hoarding twosome haven’t gone unnoticed by animal protection groups. TMZ, which has long chronicled Paris and BritBrit’s impulse puppy purchases, reprinted a letter from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk writes in part: “Your impulse purchases of dogs encourage others to follow suit, no matter how ill-equipped they are to provide a decade or more of care for a little dog who has feelings and needs and who requires patience, veterinary care, and stimulation other than nightclub music and bar laughter.”

And that’s not the least of it. PETA protesters took their beef to the Hollywood mean streets. A TMZ video documents two of the angry animal activists in Paris and Britney masks and party girl threads, arms filled with tiny toy dogs (and in BritBrit’s case, two baby dolls) and still managing to hold up signs that read, “I BUY DOGS SO SHELTER DOGS DIE,” and “SHELTER DOGS ARE DYING AND I DON’T CARE.” PETA Director Daphna Nachminovitch said in a TMZ quote, “Forget jail or rehab, these selfish stars should do a stint in an animal shelter." Meeee-OW!

Dish on the flyPaparazzi beware!

Brad Garrett, the gentle n’ gigantic older brother on “Everyone Loves Raymond,” released his inner troll on a TMZ cameraman, the Web site reports. According to TMZ.com, their cameramen got on the wrong side of Garrett’s right hook after a reporter (from another publication) asked Garrett about a racially charged comment attributed to the actor. … From the “I Wish I Felt that Good about Myself” file, “American Idol” juggernaut Sanjaya Malakar continues to ignore the Howard Stern Effect on his extended stay in the AI competition. “I think that I was underestimated to a certain point,” the dubiously-talented crooner told Iowa’s Quad City Times.

“Then, when I made the top 12, they realized I wasn’t just the one with the funny hair and pretty face.” … Kate Hudson and her new beaux, comic Dax Shepard, are hot and heavy, and her ex, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, thinks that’s aces, reports Page Six. “Chris is thrilled because now he can have (their 3-year-old son) Ryder whenever he wants,” a source told Page Six. “Kate gets a little more distracted when new men come into her life." No word on what Owen Wilson thinks.

Hot Britney Spears Demands Removal of Unflattering Billboards

(Reuters) - Lawyers for Hot Britney Spears have told a Florida radio station to take down billboards showing the pop star's shaven head as part of an advertisement for its morning talk show.

The billboards featured three identical pictures of Hot Britney Spears, apparently snarling, next to radio station WFLZ's logo and a picture of talk show host Todd Schnitt.

Atop the pictures run the labels "Total nut jobs," "Shock Therapy" and "Certifiable."

A spokeswoman for Clear Channel Communications, which owns WFLZ, said on Monday it had received a letter from law firm Lavely & Singer dated June 14. The letter demands that the billboards be removed and says images of Spears can be used only with consent.

"Clear Channel was already exposed to substantial liability for its offensive, unauthorized commercial exploitation of my client's photograph on the billboards," the letter said.

"Once again, we demand the immediate removal of the billboards, confirmed by documentary evidence and verified under penalty of perjury," it said.

Schnitt said in an interview that Clear Channel had already pulled down the billboards. "I'm not happy with that," he said.

Nude Britney Spears is trying to stage a comeback and reportedly is working on a fifth album. Nude Britney Spears entered rehab earlier in the year after a spree of high-profile partying and erratic behavior, including shaving her blond hair.

Beach Bum: Britney Spears's Backside Captured in Unflattering Beach Shots

Britney Spears Picture is showing up yet again in unflattering photos splashed across newspapers and Internet Web sites.

Mexican TV and print media published pictures that celebrity Web site TMZ said showed the 25-year-old pop star vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. Spears, her long, blond hair extensions pulled back in a ponytail, is wearing a white-and-turquoise cover-up over a bikini that reveals her not-so-toned backside.

Spears completed a monthlong stay at a luxury Malibu, Calif., rehabilitation treatment facility in March after a series of run-ins with the paparazzi that included a stop at a San Fernando Valley hair salon, where she sheared her own locks.

Other photos on the Internet have appeared to reveal Spears out partying while wearing nothing underneath her short skirts. Other photos have shown her battling weight gain.

Britney Spears Picture recently posted a message on her Web site saying she had been acting like a “bad kid running around with ADD (attention deficit disorder).”

“Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don’t think that it was alcohol or depression,” she wrote.

Britney Spears Picture filed for divorce from aspiring rapper Kevin Federline last November, just two months after giving birth to their second child, Jayden James. The pair also have an older son, Sean Preston, now 20 months.

The couple reached a divorce settlement in March.

Miniseries Stray From Their Roots

In a TV landscape dotted with serialized dramas, crime procedurals and reality programming, the poor, forgotten miniseries is deader than the sitcom.

But the genre, which brought us such seminal TV events as "Roots," "The Thorn Birds" and "The Stand," pops its head out of the grave once in a while, usually in far more modest form.

For instance, USA Network is dabbling with the miniseries form with a romantic comedy called "The Starter Wife," starring former "Will & Grace" star Debra Messing as a Hollywood wife thrust into turmoil when her husband leaves her for a Britney Spears-type girlfriend. The six-hour series debuts at 9 tonight.

"The biggest television event of the summer," USA Network has hyped in TV ads. But Marc Berman, a TV analyst for Mediaweek.com, said "big events" are hard to come by when there are hundreds of channels to choose from, compared with the days when it was only ABC, NBC and CBS.

"It's very difficult in this fractionalized marketplace for viewers to commit to watch several hours in one week, which is why you don't see it anymore," Berman said.

In fact, USA is spreading the six hours of "The Starter Wife" over five weeks.

This past season, the major networks mostly ignored the miniseries, even during the so-called sweeps months, which help local advertisers set rates. "Miniseries don't exist anymore" on the big networks, Berman said. "They hardly even do made-for-TV movies anymore."

The heyday of the genre was the late 1970s through the early 1990s, when networks would regularly haul out the big budgets and the big stars (Richard Chamberlain! Robert Duvall!).

"It was a dominant form of television," said Ron Simon, curator for the Museum of Television and Radio in New York City. "It brought broadcast networks prestige as the era of three networks came to a close. At the time, cable couldn't afford to do it."

However, as broadcast networks saw their audiences dwindle across the board, the miniseries lost their financial allure, especially if viewers didn't glom on early.

Nowadays for the big networks, "the miniseries is disruptive to audience flow" in relation to regular series, said Brad Adgate, director of research at media planning firm Horizon Media. "Just think about Fox and the problems postseason baseball causes for them in the fall."

Berman said the last time he can recall a broadcast network trying a huge miniseries was NBC in 2003 with the drug-trafficking drama "Kingpin." It ran six hours over three weeks, and, he said, it bombed.

There is some debate over the definition of the term "miniseries." But it's generally acknowledged as a midway point between a film and a regular series, typically running two to eight episodes, frequently on consecutive days or over a relatively short period of time. Many are period pieces, often based on a novel.

"The Starter Wife" is based on a best-selling fictional book by Gigi Levangie Grazer; it's set in modern day, and its aspirations are not exactly the level of a "Shogun" or "Elizabeth I."

"We're looking to give TV viewers the equivalent of an escapist beach read," said Laurette Hayden, senior vice president for long-form programming for USA.

For Messing, taking on this role was a way to go deeper into a character while not having to make a long-term commitment as she did with "Will & Grace."

"I think you would sacrifice a lot if it was a two-hour movie," Messing said in a recent press conference. "As an actress, it was a thrill and luxury to be able to do what you're supposed to do in a six-hour project and not to rush things."

And since a miniseries lacks the potential return on investment of a regular series, even networks with the scheduling flexibility and budget of USA Network will do only maybe one a year.

In the case of USA's sci-fi miniseries "The 4400" in 2004, the drama was such a success, it became a regular show. Its new season will start June 17.

SciFi Network uses miniseries as a way to test the feasibility of a concept for a regular series. The remake of "Battlestar Galactica" started as a miniseries in 2003 and turned into a critically acclaimed series.

The close-ended nature of a miniseries still has appeal, said Simon, the TV museum curator. But in many ways, he noted, viewers have another outlet to see a cast of characters interact over a brief period with a definitive ending to bring closure. It's called reality TV. And it's much, much cheaper.

Hot Britney Spears is set to sing a duet with the late Marilyn Monroe

Britney Spears is set to sing a duet with the late Marilyn Monroe. The troubled star plans to boost her ailing career by performing with the movie icon - who died more than four decades ago - on a previously unreleased Marilyn song called 'Down Boy'. Lance Bass, 28, a former member of Britney's ex-lover Justin Timberlake's band *NSYNC, has reportedly secured the rights to the song and thinks it would be perfect for Britney.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Lance wants Britney Spears Pic to sing with Marilyn on the track, like Natalie Cole did on 'Unforgettable' with her dad Nat King Cole." Plans are already in place for the 'Toxic' singer to don a platinum Marilyn-esque wig and dress like the glamour icon, when they shoot the video. Screen and music goddess Marilyn died of an overdose aged 36 in 1962. Despite being one of the most successful women of her generation, the star Britney spears No Pantie was believed to have battled numerous personal demons. Mother-of-two Paris Hilton and Britney Spears Pic, 25, recently spent a month in rehab following a bout of excessive partying and worrying behaviour, which included shaving off her hair. The singer Britney Spears is currently working on a new album planned for release in October and has been furiously exercising to regain her famously toned figure.

Who is next? Bookies bet on Hot Britney Spears

British bookmakers were taking bets yesterday on who Prince William will marry following his reported split from girlfriend Kate Middleton, with Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue among the front runners.
Bookmakers William Hill were offering odds of 6-1 that the 24-year-old prince, second in line to the throne, would tie the knot with a female fellow army officer.
But a host of famous and infamous celebrities britney spears were not far behind.

William Hill offered 8-1 on Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, a dippy British socialite and friend of the family, 14-1 on Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue and also on US party girl naked Paris Hilton, the hotel chain heiress.
Wayward singer britney spears - whom he was reported to have been exchanging e-mails with in 2002 - was priced at 20-1, British topless model Keeley Hazell was 22-1 and gutsy Russian tennis beauty Maria Sharapova was 33-1.

Other potential queens quoted included US singer Kelly Osbourne and Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills, both at 100-1.
A same-sex civil ceremony was also a 100-1 shot. William's brother Prince Harry, 22, was tipped to beat him to getting down on one knee. William Hill said Harry was 1-2 to get engaged first while William was 6-4.

They offered odds of 2-1 that William would get engaged between the ages of 28 and 30, 10-1 that he would still be unmarried at 35 and 20-1 that he would become king as a single man.
William Hill said they had expected to pay out over £50,000 ($100,000) if William married Middleton.

But media reported yesterday that the love affair was over. "We are as shocked as everyone else, if rather more relieved than most as we were preparing to pay out over £50,000 to punters who had backed the couple to wed," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
